A letter was sent to Prime Minister Narendra Modi by the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J. Jayalalithaa on Saturday, requesting him to oversee the Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian Embassy in Belgium to dispense help to a Tamil Nadu resident who was declared as missing in the bomb blasts in Brussels. The man (missing) whose name is Thiru Raghavendran Ganeshan belongs to a family from Tamil Nadu.
“I write to bring to your urgent attention the case of Thiru Raghavendran Ganeshan, a native of Tamil Nadu who is currently listed as missing in the recent bomb blasts in Brussels, Belgium. Thiru Raghavendran Ganeshan is the eldest son of his parents who hail from Tamil Nadu. His young wife, who is also from Tamil Nadu, is currently living in Chennai, after delivering the couples’ first child. The whole family is extremely anxious to hear word of him and to know about his whereabouts and safety. They have appealed to me to help trace their son,” She wrote.
“I request you to kindly instruct the Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian Embassy in Brussels to provide the family all necessary assistance to trace Mr. Raghavendran Ganeshan at the earliest. This assistance would be of great help and solace to the very worried family,” she added.
Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) never forgets pat its own back over its own work. Now, let’s see how seriously this issue will be taken by MEA, in order to search the man, and helping his family.
