Thursday tech talk : Android Vs iOS

Hello and good afternoon to all the techies out there.

We wanted to start an all new weekly series where we can discuss all about the tech world. And what better way to kick off the series with an age old debate over the best OS out there, Android or iOS.

Personally, I am a head over heels fan of Android. Because when it comes to personalisation and freedom of doing what we want from our smartphone, Android is an obvious winner. Add in root capabilities to an already amazing OS and sky is the limit. Personalisation aside, I can’t imagine my smartphone experience without apps like Xposed, Greenify, Titanium Backup, Viper4Android.

It’s your turn now. Let us know which OS do you prefer and why. We look forward to your insightful thoughts.

Well ofcourse I will prefer Android over Apple. The stability and the user interface of Android cannot be compared to any other OS. A wide variety of apps really gives us an insight of how hybrid our mobile phones can be. So yeah, thumbs up to Android!

I have always been an Android user since I started using a smartphone. I believe the awesomeness and the sense of grandeur which surrounds all the Apple products owes largely to their superb hardware. Comparing the OS powering the hardware, I believe, Android gives one enormous flexibility in how one wants to use their smartphones or tablets. Also, the ease of usage and the fact that its scope can be scaled down to devices which cost as low as 251/- (if you know what I mean! 😛 ) show the tremendous scalability Google has made with this OS. But yes, I like Siri more than Google Now! 😉

Android with custom roms would drag iOS out of the competition.
